I thought I\u2019d wander around the garden and see if I couldn\u2019t find a few blooms to send along.  There\u2019s not much as we here haven\u2019t gotten anywhere the rainfall amounts that others nearby have.  I\u2019ve done my best to avoid the brown foliage that shows through the garden this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Begonia grandis \u2018Heron\u2019s Piroette’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A larger growing Turtlehead along with Anemone japonica \u2018Honoring Jobert\u2019 down by the pond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Another Anemone japonica \u2018Pamina’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Colchicums are coming on strong throughout the garden.  A great bulb for those of us with heavy clay-loam soil!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Another C. speciosum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Colchicum agrippinum – one of my favorites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Another fall blooming bulb Sternbergia lutea – this is one of several that I separated from a big clump last summer and scattered about the garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lots of Asters are starting to flower – this is \u2018Harrington\u2019s Pink\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

An unknown Hygrangea:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This Hydrangea is quercifolia \u2018Little Honey’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lastly a mixed collection of Anemone, Aster, Chrysanthemum, Coneflower and Little Bluestem Grass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
